Marblu WordPress Theme

Oi! David was talking to me the other day. He said that he wanted to put back online his personal blog. He ask me to do a WordPress theme for him and I agreeded on it.

At the end I think the result was satisfactory, David likes a lot his new theme and now I wanted to put it here so that everyone can download and use it.

It’s compatible with WordPress 2.8.x and 2.9.x

Later the proposal David did, I thought that as I had never done a theme for WordPress was time to make one. As I had never made one, and hardly knew where to start I decided to choose a ready-made-theme set up it and go experimenting for be able to create my own theme.

I took as base the Glassical template, and from there I started to create mine. This template is soft colors, ocean style, with text replacement cúfon, comments thread, dynamic sidebar, ad space in header and the ability to add social icons in the navigation bar.

The file marblu.theme.for.wordpress.by.marcelo.zip contains the whole theme in a folder called “marblu”. To install it, you only have to do three things, UNZIP and copy/upload the folder “marblu” in your “ www_root_files/wp-content/themes “ directory (www_root_files = where the root index.php of your blog is located). And the last thing is access to your admin control panel and select marblu theme via appareance button.
